SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) govern the Prepmedians study plan text-reminder program (the “Program”) operated by MyEdustream, LLC d/b/a Prepmedians (“Prepmedians,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Program is a part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By enrolling in the Program you also agree to those Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these SMS Terms, do not opt in to the Program.

Program Status

The Program is not yet open for enrollment. We are completing carrier and messaging-provider registration. No Prepmedians text reminders are being sent today, and there is currently no way to opt in. The provisions below state the terms that will govern the Program, and they take effect for you when enrollment opens and you opt in. We will update this page when the Program becomes available.

Program Description

The Program sends recurring automated text (SMS) reminders about assignments in your Prepmedians custom study plan. Each reminder identifies Prepmedians, contains a general summary of unfinished work, and a link to sign in. Reminders do not include your scores or specific academic weaknesses. The Program is a study aid; it is not marketing, and enrolling in it does not sign you up for promotional messages.

How to Opt In

You opt in inside the Prepmedians planner by providing a mobile number for text reminders and confirming a one-time verification code we text to that number. We enable recurring reminders only after that code is confirmed. You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. You must be at least 13 years old to enroll, and if you are under 18 a parent or guardian must authorize your enrollment. We do not knowingly enroll anyone under 13, consistent with the Children Under Age 13 section of our Privacy Policy. A parent or guardian may withdraw authorization at any time by turning text reminders off in the planner, replying STOP to a reminder, or emailing info@prepmedians.com. Your consent to receive text reminders is not a condition of any purchase. Consent to the Program is separate from consent to marketing messages and from consent to planner email.

Eligibility

The Program is open to Prepmedians users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must authorize your enrollment, and we record that authorization with your consent record. We do not knowingly collect a mobile number from a child under 13. If we learn that we have enrolled someone under 13, or enrolled a minor without parental authorization, we remove the number from the Program and delete the associated reminder records. Message Frequency

We send up to one reminder per scheduled study day, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the time zone you select. Message frequency varies with your study plan and the reminder settings you choose.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by, and are a matter between you and, your mobile carrier. Check your plan for details. Message delivery is subject to your carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to Opt Out and Get Help

You can stop text reminders at any time by replying STOP to any reminder, or by turning text reminders off in your planner. After you reply STOP we send one confirmation message and then stop sending reminders to that number; turning reminders off also removes the mobile number from the active preference and cancels queued messages. For help, reply HELP to any reminder or email info@prepmedians.com. To rejoin after opting out, opt in again in the planner.

Supported Carriers

When the Program launches it will be available on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Carrier participation and coverage may change without notice.

Privacy

We handle the mobile number, consent, verification, delivery, and opt-out information collected for the Program as described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers you provide for text reminders, and SMS opt-in data and consent, are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes and are never added to the advertising customer lists described in our Privacy Policy. We share this information only with the service providers needed to deliver the messages you request, or when required by law.

Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when we post them. Your continued participation in the Program after we post changes means you accept them.
