MyEdustream, LLC d/b/a Prepmedians (“Prepmedians”, “us” or “we”) wants every student who wants to study with us to be able to. This statement describes how accessible our Platform at Prepmedians.com is today, what we know is not yet good enough, what we are doing about it, and how to reach a person who can help you right now.

The standard we measure against

We measure the Platform against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the standard most commonly referenced in the United States for websites and web applications.

Where we stand today

Prepmedians is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that parts of the Platform meet the standard and parts do not yet. We would rather tell you exactly which parts than claim more than is true.

What works well today

Our course videos carry captions. The course is entirely self paced: there are no deadlines, no proctoring, and no time limit on any lesson or practice set. The practice countdown that appears on module quizzes is never enforced, and it can be turned off, so questions can be answered untimed. Answer tools such as eliminate and mask are labelled for screen readers, and our public pages return no errors under automated WCAG 2.1 AA testing.

What does not work well yet

Much of our question bank was authored as images of text rather than as text, and we are working through it in stages. Most question and passage images now carry a text alternative, so a screen reader can read the question. Some are still being transcribed, and some of the transcriptions are imperfect; where one is too damaged to be useful, we name the question rather than read out nonsense. Answer choices that are images are identified by their letter but are not yet described in text, and tables, graphs and diagrams do not yet carry written descriptions. Our course videos are captioned, while a small number of the short videos attached to individual questions are not yet. We have also not completed a full manual review of the quiz using only a keyboard or at high magnification, so we are not making a claim about that either way.

We are working on the question and answer content first, because that is what stands between a student and the material they paid for, and we will update the date at the top of this page as each piece lands. Until then, what follows is not a consolation prize. It is how to get what you need today.

If something is not accessible to you, tell us and we will fix it for you

You do not have to wait for the work above. Email info@prepmedians.com with the word Accessibility in the subject line and tell us what you are running into. If you can, include the lesson or question you were on and the assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within three business days.

Things we can do straight away, at no extra cost:

• Send you the content of a specific question, passage or lesson in a format that works with your assistive technology.
• Turn off the practice countdown on your account so that everything is untimed.
• Describe a table, graph or figure that your screen reader cannot read.
• Extend your access if an accessibility problem on our side cost you study time.

Students with a 504 plan or an IEP

Prepmedians is a practice platform, not the organization that administers the SAT or the ACT. Accommodations on the real exam, such as extended time, are granted by the College Board and by ACT, and you apply for those through your school. We cannot grant them, and nothing here affects them.

What we can do is make practice match the accommodations a student already has. Because the course is self paced and untimed by default, extended time is effectively built in, and the countdown can be switched off entirely. If a student has accommodations that our Platform does not currently accommodate well, we want to hear about it at the address above. Several of the improvements listed on this page exist because a family wrote to us.

How we assess this Platform

This statement is based on a review completed on September 10, 2026, using automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 Levels A and AA, a review of how our question, report and email pages are built, and an audit of caption coverage across our video library. We have not yet commissioned an independent third party audit or completed a full manual review with assistive technology. We will say so on this page when we have.

If we do not get it right

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and you are not satisfied with our response, reply to our email and ask for it to be escalated to the owner, who reads that inbox directly. We would much rather hear from you and fix it than have you go without the material.
