Good questions.
Straight answers.

Prepmedians works for a wide range of students because it teaches how the test thinks, not just what it tests.

• Students who struggle with timing, focus, or traditional prep formats.
• Students with significant content gaps.
• Busy students who need a flexible plan that still delivers results.
• High-scoring students aiming for the 99th percentile or a perfect score.

Prepmedians may not be the best fit for students who only want practice questions or shortcuts without true understanding.

Prepmedians doesn’t teach the test like a textbook. We teach it like a story.

Many families come to us after other prep didn’t move the needle, and they finally see progress once timing and strategy click.

Instead of long explanations and endless drills, we combine expert test strategy with sketch comedy, music, and storytelling to turn complex concepts into lessons students actually remember.

The goal isn’t just exposure to material. It’s confidence, retention, and instinct under time pressure.

Parents often tell us it’s the first prep their student didn’t dread.

There is full, rigorous coverage of every skill and strategy needed for every question ever tested on the SAT^® and ACT^®.

This isn’t just edutainment. It’s mastery, delivered memorably.

We developed the curriculum by creating content for every single question that has ever appeared on every single released test of the SAT^® and ACT^® (even questions that only appeared once) so that students who master our program can earn perfect scores.

Some programs explain rules and move on. Prepmedians explains why strategies work, so students actually internalize them. For many students, especially those with test anxiety, this leads to stronger understanding and longer-lasting score gains.

Every lesson includes quizzes and progress tracking.

Content is continuously updated to reflect current SAT^® and ACT^® exams and official test changes.

Yes, it’s always up to date.We continually update for the newest SAT^® and ACT^® changes.

We continually update content to reflect the latest SAT^® and ACT^® changes, including timing adjustments, emphasis shifts (like increased focus on statistics), and tools such as Desmos. We’ve also attended invite-only ACT^® workshops and have helped thousands of students succeed on the newest versions of the tests.

Yes. Prepmedians works great on phones.Everything is mobile-friendly: lessons, quizzes, dashboards, and lesson plans.

Students can study anywhere, and progress syncs automatically across devices, so you can switch between phone, tablet, and computer anytime.

Many students study on their phones between classes, on commutes, or right before practice.

Yes, it’s great for PSAT^®, SAT^®, PreACT^®, and ACT^® prep. The skills overlap heavily, so early prep pays off.

The skills tested on the PSAT^® overlap heavily with the SAT^® (and similarly for the PreACT^® and ACT^®), so enrolling in a Prepmedians PSAT^®/SAT^® or PreACT^®/ACT^® course helps students build the foundation early for the PSAT^®/PreACT^® while also preparing them for future SAT^®/ACT^® test attempts.

The content is identical; the difference is focus.Targeted courses simply zoom in on one section.

Targeted courses are a lower-cost option for families who want to focus on only one section (for example, SAT^® Reading & Writing or SAT^® Math). The full course includes all sections together.

That’s very common. There’s a simple way to decide.

The best way to decide is to take one free official practice SAT^® and one free official practice ACT^®, then compare the scores using the free official concordance chart.

Then, unless you have a compelling reason not to choose the test with the relatively higher score (such as scholarship or college requirements), then you should choose to prep for that test with one of our courses.

You can prepare efficiently for both.

You can get both courses at a discounted rate (buy one, get one 50% off) on our homepage!

Yes, as many times as they like. This is how mastery actually happens.

Students are encouraged to rewatch lessons and retake quizzes until they reach mastery. This is a key part of how scores improve. Every lesson in the course is unlocked from day one, so students can study in any order.

Yes. Our study plans use official practice tests from the test makers.

That means Bluebook practice tests for the SAT^® and official ACT^® practice tests. Real, official practice tests are the closest preview of test day and the best predictor of your real score.

Here are our two most important study tips.

1. Use the Star Method. Star any sentence or strategy you haven’t mastered yet. Review your starred items briefly each day and unstar them as you master them. The goal is zero stars.
2. Retake quizzes until mastery. Aim for 95%+ consistency. That’s when we consider the material locked in.

This turns vague review into fast, focused improvement.

Yes to both.

Many families come to Prepmedians after other programs didn’t stick.

We’re especially effective for students who tried other prep programs but felt the material didn’t stick, plateaued at the same score, or never knew where to begin.

Many students don’t struggle because they lack knowledge. They struggle because they don’t recognize patterns or apply strategy under time pressure. Prepmedians is built to fix that.

Most students see strong results with 45 to 60 minutes per day, about 4 to 5 days per week. That’s it. More isn’t better; consistency is.

This approach reflects how top scorers actually study, not how prep companies sell hours.

We provide ready-made lesson plans that fit real schedules, including sports and schoolwork.

Consistency matters more than cramming.

No. We don't promise a specific score increase. Some score guarantees require months of paid access, practice quotas, and specific starting scores or test dates. If a program isn't the right fit, a student may not want to keep working through those requirements. A family may not realize a condition went unmet until scores arrive.

We focus on building a program students want to use and earning your trust from the beginning. That includes making it straightforward to leave if it isn't working for your student.

Every plan includes our 5-Day Money-Back Guarantee, with no conditions. Email info@prepmedians.com within five days of purchase for a full refund. No practice quota or score report required.

That's a promise about fit, not about scores.

From there, most students succeed in one of two ways:

• Follow a recommended lesson plan that matches your test date.
• Take targeted quizzes to identify exactly what still needs work.

Prepmedians guides students either way, so there’s no guesswork.

Students can start on Prepmedians as early as 6th grade.

We recommend getting the relevant math course (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trig etc.) for your student to use based on the math class they're currently enrolled in (or if it's the summer, based on the math class they'll take next year) and our grammar course.

These courses help students reinforce the skills they should be mastering in school and also lay the foundation for future SAT^®/ACT^® Prep.

Many students say that they learn math and grammar so much better from Prepmedians than from their school teachers!
